On a personal note…

With over two decades of experience as a behavioral therapist, I have witnessed the intricate challenges of relationships and the transformative power of compassion, forgiveness, and tolerance. As someone who has been married for many years and raised five children, I offer a unique blend of professional expertise and personal insight to guide clients through the complexities of communication and emotional regulation in their relationships.

I am deeply passionate about helping families foster the healthy dynamics they aspire to create. Marriage and couples therapy is a particular focus of mine, where I aim to enhance communication, provide effective conflict resolution strategies, and support clients in achieving deeper connections through meaningful interactions. Drawing from my experience as a former Juvenile Probation Officer and Multi-Systemic Therapist, I am committed to helping parents develop personalized strategies that meet the unique needs of their families. Additionally, I am deeply committed to offering compassionate support for those navigating grief, helping you process loss and find a path toward emotional healing.

My own life journey has instilled in me profound empathy, patience, and a dedication to supporting others in overcoming challenges and realizing personal growth. I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and thrive in both their relationships and personal lives. It would be my privilege to support you on your path toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.

Testimonials

Mario, Dekalb, IL

I needed to take some time out of my day to review (something I never do) Judy, as she continues to exemplify what it means to be a supportive and EFFECTIVE therapist. Cannot thank her enough for the work she continues to do with my family. If you're not looking do the work, and have a problem with straightforwardness and honest tactics, she very well may NOT be the therapist for you.
